IRVINE, Calif. -- Brandon Simister had his best shooting night of the season in the first game of the week and the Trailblazers rode that momentum for the rest of the week to finish the year on a 15-game winning streak to claim the 2017-18 PacWest Regular Season Title. Simister scored a season-high 25 points against Holy Names, making 6 of 7 shots from beyond the arc in the victory. Three days later, Dixie State beat Biola to claim at least a share of the title before clinching it outright with a win against Point Loma. Simister played in all 40 minutes in the regular-season finale, doing so for the first time this year, as he scored 19 points and dished out six assists. Trevor Hill added 16 points and four steals as Dixie State went on to win 76-65 to earn the fourth PacWest title in program history.
