Want to meet some new friends and help raise money for St. Bart’s? Do you have that ‘hospitality gene’ and like to throw parties? Then join us this summer by hosting one of our Let Us Entertain You events during the month of June, July or August! As hosts, you get to use your imagination to dream up whatever event you think people would enjoy – a costume party, poolside BBQ, golf day, wine & cheese tasting, hot air balloon ride, bowling night—the possibilities are endless. You pay for their party expenses* and determine the number of guests -- a party for four, 10, 20, 50? It’s up to YOU! The church will then sell ‘tickets’ to your event (i.e. suggested donations) and all proceeds will go to support the mission of the church! For example: Let’s say to decide to host a Beach Picnic for a maximum 20 guests at $20/person. As host, you figure out the details and supply whatever beach activities and/or food and beverages your party needs. St. Bart’s then sells tickets to your party: $20 x 20 guests = a $400 donation to St. Bart’s! Or how about a $50/person Gourmet 7-Course Dinner with a maximum six guests? You supply the dinner--we supply the guests. $50/person x 6 guests = a $300 donation to St. Bart’s! Here are some more ideas just to get the creative juices flowing! •
Game Night w/hors d'oeuvres and beverages (alcoholic/non-alcoholic – up to the host!)

After Church Brunch for 6, 8, 10, 12 or more guests

Swim & Lunch Party – could be adult or family theme
•
Ethnic Dinner with hosts’ heritage foods and wines
•
Sunset Sailing with hors d'oeuvres and wine
•
Golf and Lunch for host + 3 guests (August is National Golf Month)
•
Homemade Ice Cream Social (at church or host home)
•
Wines of Summer Tasting
•
Picnic at Lake Poway (July is National Picnic Month)
•
Get Ready for July 4th Crafts and Cookies Party for Kids
•
Anjelika Morning Movie & Patio Discussion (host covers tickets which include free coffee)
How to Be a Party Host: Come up with your idea, complete and return the form on the back by April 30, 2017. You will be contacted to finalize your party date, time, # of attendees and suggested donation. *Please consult your CPA, as host party expenses may be tax deductible.
