Do you like to program? Do you like to experiment with new technologies? Do you like to win? If you answered yes to one or more of the above questions, keep reading!!! I am Linda Di Geronimo, a PhD student at the Globis group at ETH. With my student, Bernhard Kellermann, we are working on two web frameworks that are capable to detect which hand (left or right) users are currently using to browse the web page and if they are walking. The frameworks are written in JavaScript and jQuery therefore, they run directly on the client, no server and no major setup required! To test our work, we are carrying out a developer study and we need you! Goal of the competition is to implement a nice application that uses one or both frameworks. The best three applications will win amazon, steam or digitec gift cards! (prizes go up to 100.-). The competition starts from the 8th of March and it will end the 8th of April 2018. Applications will be judged by the Globis group. Your solution can be anything that you like! The only rule is to use the framework(s)! Here you can find the frameworks with its wiki and examples: github.com/bkellerm/CAMOVE Submit your solution by sending an email to this account: [email protected], with the subject [COMPETITION]. In the email, please indicate how we can run your solution on our phones. We also kindly ask you to fill in a small questionnaire where you can tell us if you liked to work with your frameworks. The questionnaire will be sent to you after we received your solution.

If you have any other questions, please send an email to me or to Bernhard: [email protected] [email protected]

Thank you in advance and good luck!
