July 6, 2017 To All Owners of Registered Dogs in the Town of Redcliff Re: Dog License Application Information This letter is to inform you that the Town of Redcliff is in the process of implementing a new online service. This online service; a Virtual Town Hall, will give those who sign up the ability to: ‐ View and pay property tax bills, ‐ View and pay utility bills, ‐ View and pay for dog licenses, ‐ View and pay for business licenses, ‐ Order, view and pay for tax certificates. Additionally, this Virtual Town Hall would also allow for members of the public to contact a dog owner directly if they find a lost dog. Each dog tag number is associated with a specific dog and owner. If your dog gets lost, and someone finds it, they will be able to enter the tag number into the Dog License Search section of the online service. Your dog’s information (name, breed and colour) will be displayed. Along with your dog’s information, your phone number will also be displayed (no other personal information will be made public). This will allow the person who found your dog to contact you so you can be reunited with your dog much more quickly. If you do not wish to have your telephone number released when your dog’s tag number is searched, please complete the bottom of this page and return it to Town Hall before October 1. If the Town does not receive a response, consent is implied that the Town may release your phone number for the above stated purpose. Thank you,
