Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center Offers Lifeguarding Courses Additional Summer Employment Opportunities also Available Pleasanton, CA— The City of Pleasanton’s Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center is offering American Red Cross courses for those interested in gaining certification as a lifeguard. Upon successful completion of the Lifeguarding course, candidates may apply for employment with the Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center. Ages 15 and up Train to become a lifeguard! You do not need to be on a swim team, nor be a competitive swimmer to take this class; you just need to have basic swimming skills! This course combines online learning sessions with hands-on practice of first aid, CPR/AED and lifeguarding skills. Note: Class times do not reflect online learning sessions. An additional $35 non-refundable fee, payable to the American Red Cross will be due following the first class session. Spring Break Session!
