Downingtown Borough Good Neighbor Day July 4, 2018 Downingtown Good Neighbor Day "Run for Life" will take place on Wednesday, July 4th. The race begins at 8:00am. The route is along Business Route 30 and Pennsylvania Avenue. All major roadways through Downingtown Borough will be detoured. Motorists are urged to avoid delays and use the Route 30 bypass as an alternate for East/West Traffic. The race should be completed by 10:00 a.m. and all roadways re-opened with the exception of Pennsylvania Avenue between Manor Avenue and Wallace Avenue, which will remain closed all day. Traffic delays can be expected all day, as the Good Neighbor Day Event continues throughout the day and finishes after the fireworks display at dusk.
