In Hexham we have a coach drop off bay outside the Abbey. On arriving into Hexham turn left past the railway station, then turn right at the next roundabout. Drive up to the top of the street and take the next right turn which is just past Benson’s Monument on Beaumont Street. The coach drop off is at the bottom of Beaumont Street outside the Abbey.
Things to Do Hexham is a historic market town with a wealth of history to be explored, including the oldest purpose built prison in England Hexham Old Gaol, and Hexham Abbey. You can pre-book a guided walking tour of Hexham through the Tourist Information Centre. Hexham has two large parks, The Sele and Tyne Green Country Park which offer an opportunity to stretch your legs and get some fresh air. Hexham is ideally situated for a stop whilst visiting Hadrian’s Wall.
Coach Parking for visiting coaches is available free of charge in Wentworth Car Park.

Hexham is an award winning market town, Tuesday being market day. Among Hexham’s specialist shops you will find those that are really unique, totally one-offs, found only in Hexham. Hexham’s Farmers’ Market takes place on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, between 9am and 1.30pm. You’ll find a wide range of delicious locally produced foods and friendly service from the producers.
