Dear AFSCME Leader, On September 19th, 2015, AFSCME Council 93 is hosting a Family Day and Softball Tournament at DCR’s Houghton’s Pond Recreation Area located in Milton. Slots will be filled on a first-come, first served basis and will be limited to twelve (12) teams. We will be serving BBQ food including hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, etc., on site. There will be activities available for the children, and we will also have games available for the adults to indulge in between the softball games, or for those of you that get knocked out in the early rounds. All Softball games shall be played for a maximum of ninety (90) minutes in duration and there shall be a slaughter rule of ten (10) runs in effect. The tournament will be a single game elimination event. The Team contact will be notified of any changes due to inclement weather. If you have any questions, please call (617) 367-6015.
