SONORA model LAL20a & LAL204a may be placed as close as 50 feet from an AU9S dish and provide an automatic gain controlled output of -20 dBm (with 64 equal input transponders).
RELATED CONSIDERATIONS Multiple powering options. They may be coax line powered from either the RF input or RF output. Model LAL204a-T includes 12V, 1 Amp power supply. An external transformer from 12 to 20 volts may be connected. On model LAL20a, external power may be looped to power multiple amplifiers at one location.

Model HRT116, HRT112, HRT109 and HRT106 directional couplers tap a portion of the signal to feed distribution nodes. The LAL20a and LAL204a amplifiers are designed for multiple field powering options. As line amplifiers they pass voltage and 22 KHz tone from RF out put to RF input and from RF input to RF output. Each polarity is independently powered. A power supply from 12 to 20 volts DC can be connected to the DC input connector to power all polarities of the amplifier. DC looping ports allow a single high capacity power supply to power multiple amplifiers. Each polarity draws 125 ma.
