Leather Accessories

DURATION: 3 Months, Thrice a week, 2.5 hrs./day INTAKE: 10 Students COURSE FEES: Rs. 30,000/Explores leather as a material, craft techniques and processes applied on it to make bags and accessories.

Wood Craft & Ornamentation

DURATION: 3 Months, Thrice a week, 2.5 hrs./day INTAKE: 10 Students COURSE FEES: Rs. 30,000/To learn wood craft techniques such as turning, taarkashi, inlay, etching etc. and create products.

Clay Craft Techniques

CRAFT & INTERIOR SPACES

DURATION: 4.5 Months, camp based module, 2 weeks on campus INTAKE: 5 Students COURSE FEES: Rs. 40,000/To develop an understanding of the basics of interior design for spaces and application of craft techniques in interiors.

CRAFT MANAGEMENT & ENTREPRENEURSHIP

DURATION: 4.5 Months, Thrice a week, 2.5 hrs./day INTAKE: 10 Students COURSE FEES: Rs. 40,000/To learn nuances of entrepreneurship and business innovations and to convert craft into a global business

DURATION: 3 Months, Thrice a week, 2.5 hrs./day INTAKE: 10 Students COURSE FEES: Rs. 30,000/To understand and explore clay as a material and learn techniques like throwing, pinching, coiling and slab work to create forms for clay products.

Pattern Making & Garment Construction (Western)

DURATION: 3 Months, Thrice a week, 2.5 hrs./day INTAKE: 10 Students COURSE FEES: Rs. 30,000/To understand & explore the technical aspects of pattern making & garment construction for western garments.

Metal Craft & Ornamentation

DURATION: 3 Months, Thrice a week, 2.5 hrs./day INTAKE: 10 Students COURSE FEES: Rs. 30,000/To understand, explore and experience different metal techniques and processes such as enamelling, beaten work, forging etc., to create products.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

FOR FURTHER DETAILS CONNECT TO • The admission is open to anyone who is 18 years and above and is interested in learning about crafts and enhancing their skills. • Registration for the course would be through filling an online form on IICD website. • Minimum intake is 10 students in a course. • The seats are provided on first come first serve basis. • Registrations start in May 2016.
