this Kent market town holds its annual oneday garden party, with stalls, garden-arty demonstrations and workshops, and live music. Kent Bat and herbal medicine walks, a workshop and a chance to join in with an artist and her friends as they ‘draw the garden’ – Kent’s sixth year at the Fringe.
Exeter Described as a ‘floral happening’,
visitors will follow a trail to see gorgeous flower displays in the city’s shops and historic landmarks – a new fringe hub this year. Cornwall Whimsical floral demonstrations and indulgent cream teas will put visitors into a Chelsea fever – yum! And other surprises.
Sicily This fourth celebration of Mediterranean gardening has special Fringe events with the Botanic Gardens of Palermo, Botanic Garden of Catania, Radicepura, the council in Siracusa and a Ragusa artist. Florence Back again with a secret garden and other events. Japan Nagute’s artists, designers, chefs and students encourage visitors to have fun together in a whole host of different experiences.
