ECHUCA EXPLORER S A T U R D A Y 9 T H J U LY • D A Y T R I P T O E C H U C A Steamrail invites you to join our tour today to the historic Murray River township of Echuca. This will be a chance to travel behind our 1951 built Hudson steam locomotive R761 and to relax in our magnificently restored country E and S type compartment carriages. Our journey for the forward trip will take on a different route through Seymour and Murchison East and branch off on to the rarely used cross-country line from Toolamba to Echuca. This line seldom sees passenger trains as it is a freight only line. So sit back and relax as we wind our way through to Echuca. Upon arrival in Echuca there will be just under four hours to experience country hospitality at your leisure. There is the Port of Echuca, famous for its wharf and paddlesteamers. Grab a bite to eat in one of the many pubs or bakeries along the way. Alternatively you may opt for one of the packages we have put together, making it easy to enjoy your time here. PS C ANBERR A PADDLESTEA MER C RUISE WITH LUNC H This cruise will be departing from the wharf and exclusively for our use only. Enjoy a two hour cruise along the Murray River that will include a two course lunch (drinks at extra cost). There will be a shuttle bus to take you to the boat and return to the railway station.
WINERY TOUR WITH LUNC H This option will have you transported to two wineries around Echuca, with a two course lunch included in the price. There will be time to explore the Port of Echuca after you have been taken to the second winery. The bus will then take you back to the railway station. FOOD SERVICE Open throughout the tour, our on board kiosk and licensed bar serves a wide range of hot and cold drinks and light snacks. •
