We are a lively, Italian-inspired neighbourhood restaurant located in the heart of the Tuxedo Park Community in Calgary, able to accommodate a variety of events in our beautiful, open-concept restaurant. At Scopa, we work hard to create an atmosphere where guests are received as if going somewhere familiar, just as you would find in small town eateries all over Italy. We offer three different dining styles for groups of 15 or more. Our

restaurant can comfortably seat 70 guests for a sit down lunch or dinner and 100 guests for a stand-up cocktail style event. Weather permitting, and season permitting, the use of our outdoor terrace is included in buy-outs.

A family-style dinner is the meal of a lifetime. This amazing dining experience consists of four multi-plate courses served over two to three hours. Your evening will start off with 6-8 mouth-watering antipasti dishes. Pastas come next with two delicious options for you and your guests to enjoy. The third course is an amazing meat, poultry or fish with accompaniments. Dinner is concluded with a dessert selection of two to three delectable house-made creations. The family-style menu is all chef’s choice, courtesy of our Chef, Justin Lall.

With our event manager, choose a custom three-course menu for guests from a list of seasonal offerings. Upon arrival, your custom menu will be on the table, offering guests three options for each course. First course is antipasti, second is pasta or meat and the third is dessert. If you are looking to add a course please ask our event manager and we will be happy to customize a menu for you.

An incredible feast with something for everyone, this menu is offered for standing, cocktail-style events. The magic of this style of dining is the flow and interaction between guests as they move around the room, sampling delicious food from different stations. An antipasti table features an incredible selection of around 20 hot and cold plates, with offerings like: bruschetta, veal meatballs, calamari, salads and house-made breads. At a live pasta station, cooks prepare two pasta dishes fresh and hot for guests. A carne station features a cook carving portions of either beef, pork or lamb for guests — served with appropriate accompaniments. Finally, a dessert table offers a beautiful spread of house-crafted desserts, with traditional favourites and new creations from our bakery team — all served bite size for your convenience.

Booking Want to book the whole venue? Scopa Neighbourhood Italian is able to host private events for a minimum spend. Please note that taxes and gratuity are not included in the minimum required budget. A 10% deposit, based on the minimum requirement, will be necessary in order to confirm your booking. All prices quoted do not include GST and 20% gratuity.

In order to exceed your expectations we require all of the details for your event, with the exception of final guest count, to be agreed upon 14 days prior to the event. The final guest count can be confirmed up to 48 hours prior to the event. At minimum, you will be billed for your confirmed number of guests, greater if your guest count increases.
