Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce Leadership Albuquerque "Building Leadership for a Stronger Community" General Application Information Leadership Albuquerque is an intensive educational symposium for community leaders. The program seeks to give in-depth perspectives and applicable knowledge on current hot-button issues. Leadership Albuquerque is designed for individuals who are committed to personal and professional growth, leadership, and challenging work. Program Layout EVENTS: September 2016 - June 2017, events are mandatory for participants. ® Kickoff Event: Leadership Retreat, overnight Location TBA

® Curriculum/Program Days: All-day topical seminars averaging once a month. Locations vary throughout the city. October - June; no curriculum day in December ® Commencement/Graduation: Dinner and Ceremony to celebrate the completion of the class. Location TBA June 2017 SELECTION: A limited number of applicants are selected by the committee. PROGRAM OBJECTIVES: ® Ensure that the class represents our diverse community in the following areas: Large Business Small Business Self-employed Non-profit Volunteers Race & Gender Industry & Professional Backgrounds ® Provide an exceptional experience for our participants which includes exposure to speakers who are experts in their respective fields. For this reason specific dates for our Curriculum/Program Days are determined by their availability. Therefore, while we aim to give you as much notice as possible, you must have some flexibility in your schedule in order to attend the Curriculum/Program Days. Program Tuition ® Tuition for FY 2016/17 is $2,750.00. Tuition covers all program costs including a mandatory retreat, meals for program days, materials, Leadership shirts, and speaker costs. ® Full payment is due prior to the Leadership Retreat in September. ® A limited number of scholarships are available. Contact the program director with questions. ® Additional costs may include parking fees for some of the Curriculum/Program Days. ® Program participation includes lifetime individual membership in the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce.
