How to source talent using Twitter In today’s market there are more jobs and less talent available to recruiters. It is important to look hard to find the right candidates for your clients. Twitter reported they now have 302 million active accounts, sending 500 million tweets a day - the right candidate has to be among them, all you have to do is find them.

When you find someone of interest you can look through their followers and find more people who are in your target pool. Follow them and if you’ve done a good job of sharing content, to add value, they will follow you back - at worst some will follow you back. Follow potential candidates - The easiest way of building a relevant Twitter followers doesn’t involve any searching. Whenever you speak to a potential candidate, simply ask them if they are on Twitter. If they are, tell them you will follow them and if they follow you they can stay up-to-date with new jobs, find out what is happening in their marketplace and they can get in touch with you if they have any questions. Yes Twitter can be that simple. Don’t be afraid to try and engage with your followers.
