The Golden Rule

Buddhism:

Each faith has teachings about the importance of dealing rightly with other people. This principle - to treat others as we would wish to be treated ourselves – is sometimes called ‘The Golden Rule’.

Just as a mother would protect her only child with her life, even so let one cultivate a boundless love towards all beings
