ALANYA ALAADDIN KEYKUBAT UNIVERSITY Alanya Antalya TURKEY 2017-2018 ACADEMIC YEAR INTERNATIONAL APPLICATIONS FOR ASSOCIATE DEGREE / UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS Who can apply? 1- Those who have either completed or are in the final year of their secondary education, 2- Foreign citizens, 3- A Turkish citizen at birth who is allowed to leave the Turkish nationality from the Ministry of the Interior or a child of such a person who is below the age of 18, and who is registered on his or her parent’s renunciation of citizenship document, providing they have in their possession documentary evidence of their rights under the terms of Law No. 5901, and Article 7 (1), 4- A foreign national by birth, who has also been granted Turkish citizenship (dual nationality), 5- Turkish citizen who has completed before 01/02/2013 his or her secondary education in a foreign country or in the Turkish Schools which are founded by the Ministry of Education in a foreign country with the exception of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), 6- A Turkish citizen who has completed his or her secondary education after the date of 01/02/2013, in a foreign country or in the Turkish Schools which are founded by the Ministry of Education in a foreign country with the exception of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), 7- A TRNC citizen living in the TRNC who has completed his or her secondary education in the TRNC, and has successfully completed the CE AL Examination and who has or will have a GCE AL qualification after having registered for and completed a course of education in a college or high school in another country between 2005 and 2010.

How to Apply? 1- Applications will only be accepted electronically at: (https://obs.alanya.edu.tr/oibs/ogrsis/basvuru_yabanci_login.aspx) 2- Applications received by mail, e-mail, fax or cargo will not be evaluated. 3- Applicants are expected to pay a 50.00 Turkish Lira for Application and Evaluation Fee to the IBAN number TR53 0001 2009 5710 0016 0001 34, which is located in the Halk Bank before making their choice. Application fee is non-refundable. 4- Applicants who have the minimum scores of the exams (SAT, GCE, etc.), with the indicated points in the Appendix1 may apply. Being in compliance with the requirements for the application does not guarantee acceptance of the program. 5- Candidates will be able to make a maximum of 3 choices. 6- There are no restrictions on the validity of the exams (Abitur, International Baccalaureate, GCE, etc.) which are in the status of high school graduation exams in applicants' applications. However, exams such as SAT, etc., that have the status of university entrance examination are valid for two years.

What Documents Required? 1- An official document translated into Turkish issued by the institution of secondary education in which the student is studying, showing the date of graduation of the candidates who has not received a certified copy of the high school diploma or a high school diploma,

Documents Required to Register 1- Original and Turkish translation of high school diploma, 2- "Equivalence Certificate" to be obtained from Embassies or Consulates of the Republic of Turkey or Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey, indicating that the high school diploma is equivalent to the diploma from the Turkish High Schools, 3- The document indicating the graduation grade average, certified by the Turkish Embassies or Consulates, translated into Turkish, 4- The sample of the test result document indicated in the application, certified by the Turkish Embassy or Consulates, 5- An approved copy of the official identity or passport identification page, 6- A bank receipt showing that the tuition fee has been paid. (Tuition fee will be announced at registration.), 7- "Student Visa" to be taken from the Embassies or Consulates of the Republic of Turkey, 8- 3 passport size photos, 9- Foreign language and Turkish proficiency certificates, which is internationally valid, 10- Foreign national identification number, 11- Health board report from a full-fledged hospital or university hospital in Turkey. (For desired units.) *** Candidates must have a Student Visa in order to be able to register or they should be in the status of foreigners who will not be asked for a Student Visa within the principles set by the General Directorate of Security. *** Those who do not register within the period of registration to be announced or those who cannot submit documents required for registration are considered to have given up the right to register and the right of registration passes to the reserve applicants respectively. ***According to the Candidate's European Language Teaching Common Framework Program, Turkish & English proficiency levels and range of points are evaluated according to the Appendix 4.
