Job Opening Data Scientist Profile OpenAnalytics is an international company based in Antwerp (Belgium) providing data analysis services and products across geographies and industrial sectors. We are looking to expand our team of data scientists with a candidate who fits the following profile: • MSc / PhD in Statistics, Applied Mathematics or Computer Science interested to work on applied data science problems • team player and good communicator with fluency in English, verbal and written • strong experience in statistics, data mining or machine learning • sound knowledge of a language for scientific computing (R, Python, Julia, C. . . ) and experience with a general-purpose programming language (Java, Python, c++. . . )
Description The successful candidate will • interact with scientists from biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in order to devise and implement analysis platforms and pipelines • perform data analyses on representative experiments to assess the relevance of and fine-tune analysis methods • provide input to OpenAnalytics colleagues that develop the broader hardware and software infrastructure for the data analysis applications.
