JOB POSTING Food for Kids Coordinator (Full-Time) Mission Empowering communities to eliminate hunger by providing food, education and resources through innovation and collaboration. Summary Provides programmatic coordination, oversight, and monitoring to Food for Kids programming including, but not limited to:  Child and Adult Care Feeding Program (CACFP) during the school calendar year  Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) during summer months  BackPack for Kids Program (BP) during the school calendar year  Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) during summer months  Other programs as directed Provides administrative assistance to the department, as needed, and in association with the above-programs. Responsibilities 1) Manage, oversee, and monitor requirements for existing program sites and work to bring new sites on board, as appropriate 2) Ensure regular communication with internal and external stakeholders and collaborators including, but not limited to staff of other departments within the Tarrant Area Food Bank, the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA), participating program site coordinators and contracted food vendor(s) 3) Provide training, guidance, and support for new and existing Food for Kids Program site coordinators as needed (to individuals and groups) 4) Maintain accurate and complete program records and submit timely reports 5) Participate in and effectively contribute to the development and implementation of identified solutions to fill gaps in service throughout our 13-county service area 6) Conduct site visits and monitoring reviews for participating Food for Kids Program sites and effectively document all findings 7) Provide excellent customer service to all clients being served through Food for Kids Programs and other Tarrant Area Food Bank Programs, as needed Requirements  Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree (preferred) 2 – 3 years of administrative experience Experience working with school-based staff, faculty, and administrative personnel Experience in governmental program auditing and enforcement of policy and procedure compliance (preferred)  Technical Proficiencies Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Posted 6/4/2018
