JOB POSTING Network Development Coordinator (Full-Time) Mission Empowering communities to eliminate hunger by providing food, education and resources through innovation and collaboration. Summary The Network Development Coordinator works with internal teams and community partners with the goal of increasing the capacity of Tarrant Area Food Bank’s (TAFB) network. Develops relationships and collaborative partnerships with community organizations and resources to meet the food access and health and wellness needs of our community. Responsibilities 1) Organize peer group meetings for each of the peer groups in the TAFB service area. 2) Develop and oversee a capacity program to effectively and efficiently advance the network toward meeting our mission over time. 3) Develop resources, workshops, and training opportunities for agencies and for bringing community partners together. 4) Together with the Nutrition Services Manager, build and maintain relationships with healthcare organizations related to the connection with hunger and food insecurity. 5) Develop and execute community and client needs assessments to determine programming effectiveness and potential new programming. 6) Develop evaluation tools for current programs to measure effectiveness. 7) Research various evaluation methods to measure short and long term outcomes and recommend to team. 8) Speak publicly in a variety of environments. Requirements • Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree; minimum of three years’ experience in client services and/or social services or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Technical Proficiencies Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint Proficiency in mapping software a plus but not required • Communication Skills Excellence in speaking, writing and presenting information; ability to speak effectively with a diverse audience • Other Competencies Ability to research and evaluate statistics and apply to creative solutions is essential; proficiency in networking and collaborative work experience; organizational and problem solving skills; compassion for our mission Tarrant Area Food Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
