Foreign Language/LA Dept. Joshua Gordon and Alex Townsend are being recognized as the Academic Students of the Month for January 2017 by the Foreign Language/LA Department. Joshua is being recognized because his Spanish II teacher, Mrs. Daniela Cavanaugh, says he “has a passion for Spanish. He will go out of his way to figure out the answer, and always gives his best effort in class!” Joshua is the son of Mary Hunt. Alex is being recognized because her Russian III teacher, Mrs. Val Anderson, says “she is a student who is blessed with natural intelligence, but she is also a hardworking person. She wants to learn. She wants to succeed. She does both perfectly!” Alex is the daughter of Lee & Stephanie Townsend. Congratulations, Joshua & Alex, on this well-deserved honor!
