October 19, 2017 - - - Merchants Fleet Management announced today the launch of an enhanced maintenance alert system through TotalView. Clients enrolled in a Merchants Maintenance Management Program can leverage the new system-generated maintenance reminders. While the industry standard is homogenous maintenance alerts across a fleet, the maintenance alerts in TotalView allow for customization. Alerts and reminders can be set by vehicle segments and desired service intervals, and those managing the fleet may choose a preferred alert distribution method – text, email, or both. “We asked our client advisory board what was important to them and have implemented those suggestions into the newly released maintenance alters in TotalView,” said Dan Hannan, Executive Director of Products & Services.
