Minutes of the meeting of Olney Town Council Planning Committee held on Monday 11 April 2016 at 7:00 pm in the Olney Centre Present: Councillors Stephen Clark, Jeremy Rawlings, Deirdre Bethune, John Boardman, Tony Evans, Joe Stacey In attendance: Liam Costello (Town Clerk)

16/00312/FUL - Land To The Rear of 90 East Street Olney RESOLVED: Application considered at last months meeting

16/00533/REM - 1 Osier Way Olney Milton Keynes MK46 5FP Reserved matters application for access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale pursuant to outline planning permission 13/02130/OUT for erection of 33 dwellings and associated works RESOLVED: The council strongly objects to this application for the following reasons:

Allocating this site for housing will use up valuable and much needed employment land.



The application makes no allowance for affordable housing



Poor design and layout of housing as identified in the MKC design submission.



The applicant has failed to address the issues raised in the Anglian Water submission at the outline application stage.



The site has been demonstrated to be viable as an employment site as demonstrated by the granting of planning consent to two employment applications 14/02890/FUL and 14/01752/FUL, contrary to the assertion from the applicant at the outline stage.



The application is contrary to the emerging neighborhood plan which is at the Regulation 14 pre-submission consultation stage, which allocates the land as employment land. MKC have delegated the allocation of land to neighbourhood plans in the rural area under the Site Allocations Plan for Plan:MK
