paying For your study The College accepts most major credit / debit cards, or you may also pay by cash or cheque. Tuition and exam fees are payable at enrolment. Additional costs may be incurred for materials, books and specialist equipment and any additional exam resit/assessment charges. Where possible, College staff will tell you about all fees when you enquire about the programme. ConCESSionS on non-aCCREdiTEd CommuniTy EduCaTion CouRSES (CommuniTy LEaRning funding) Concessions are also available on courses funded through Community Learning, which includes most Community Education courses not listed as ‘accredited’. If you are aged 19+ and in one of the categories listed below you may not have to pay for these courses: • in receipt of an income-based benefit or equivalent e.g. Income Support, Working Tax Credit (Household income threshold applies), Housing Benefit, Pension Credit (guarantee credit only), or Council Tax Benefit (25% single occupancy discount does not apply) • in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance • in receipt of Employment and Support Allowance in the Work Related Activity Group • anyone who is an unwaged dependent of someone who is in the categories above • in receipt of universal credit (in certain circumstances) Call us on 0121 678 7000 for more information or to check if you are entitled to receive concessions on your course.

Employment conditions and fee waivers at the start of your course, prevail throughout the duration of that course. Please note that places on Community Learning courses are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis except for Family Learning programmes.
