State History Day Competition ★

Dominick Pizzelanti, grade 7, received 2nd place and is moving on to Nationals.

CSPV LifeSkills Training Grant ★

Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence (CSPV) 3-year grant awarded to KASD commencing Fall 2019.

★

Implements lessons to help protect children against alcohol, tobacco, and drug use.

★

Training has been proven to work in more than 35 published studies.

★

Effects of program have been shown for up to 12 years after student participation.

Girls on the Run ★

GES girls completed the 5K run Saturday.

Despite rain, the girls made the best of the situation and jumped, splashed, skipped, and danced their way to the finish line!
