THE CEREMO N Y Celebrate your vows with up to 150 guests in the grandeur of the Members' Dining Room overlooking the River Thames, or with up to 60 guests in the beautiful oak panelled Jubilee Room. Both venues are licensed with Westminster Council for civil ceremonies. Ceremonies can take place between 10.30 and 16.30 on Saturdays and Fridays when neither House is sitting. The latest ceremony can take place at 16.00

The Westminster Registry Office accepts provisional bookings and will also allow you to give formal notice of your ceremony up to 12 months before the day.

The Members' Dining Room is adorned with beautiful flock wall paper, wooden relief sculptures and fascinating paintings. This splendid room with exquisite detailing is sure to impress your guests.

The Strangers' Dining Room is decorated with intricate wood carvings and the elaborate red flock wallpaper – designed and favoured by Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin (1812-52) providing an elegant setting for your special occasion.

CHURCH I L L ROOM

This relaxing space provides an idyllic setting with wonderful views of the Thames and is the perfect venue for an intimate reception. The large gilt brass and crystal chandelier which commands the room is a piece that was initially commissioned by the Earl of Shrewsbury by Pugin.

The Churchill Room, renamed in honour of the formidable ex-Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill (1874-1965). With an abundance of natural day light and views of the River Thames this room provides a wonderful backdrop for your wedding reception.

The House of Commons Shop offers an exclusive range of high quality gifts suitable for all occasions and events. The range includes confectionery, wines, spirits, glass, china and stationery. Gifts and favours can be pre-ordered through the events team or arrangements can be made for you to visit the House of Commons Shop. If you require a large quantity of a particular item a minimum of four weeks’ notice will usually be necessary.
