Pascal is funny, spontaneous, and has a well-balanced personality. Family and friends are very important to him and he tries to spend a lot of time with them. His parents are often busy, but he enjoys talking and cooking with them in the afternoons. Pascal likes to play sports and to watch movies with his friends. His favorite sport is soccer, which he has been playing for 13 years. He has practice twice a week and usually a game on the weekends. If he has time, he also enjoys watching the professional games. Additionally, Pascal likes swimming and playing volleyball in the summer.

Helena's family and friends describe her as friendly, helpful, clever, and open-minded. She is close to her family, especially her grandparents, and she also enjoys visiting her cousins. Helena enjoys horseback riding and playing hockey. During her time in the U.S., she hopes to try some new sports. Helena likes to cook with her mom, and also enjoys baking delicious desserts. She always aspires to help people; someday, she wants a career that helps people, possibly as a psychologist. Helena is very excited about all the new things she'll get to experience during her exchange year.

Tunyasiri, who goes by her nickname Mai, is a cheerful, polite, and determined student who loves singing and learning about new cultures. She does very well in school and her favorite subjects are chemistry and English. After school she goes to the gym with her mother and helps out around the house, and in her free time she loves to listen to music and sing- she was even a runner up in a school singing contest! Someday she would like to study communication. Mai is excited to share her own culture, from Thai dancing to cooking, with her host family and learn about their traditions!

Nick's friends and family say he's independent and social, but also very calm. He comes from a large family, and he says they have a blast together on holidays and stick together when one of them needs help. Nick takes that loyalty into his friendships and school, too! He feels he is a natural leader. He was captain of his soccer team for several years, and he still loves playing. Nick is athletic all around and also loves to swim, ski, skate, and jog. In his down time, Nick likes to read, and in school, he likes English. He can't wait to meet his host family and make great memories!
