Dear Ecclesfield,
#WeAreEcco
Happy New Year to you!
The hampers all went out, and to a really wide mixture of people and places. They were very gratefully received by clients who struggle at Christmas more than ever. As well as in your local community, we used a selection of the hampers, as mentioned when we first spoke, at a Christmas dinner for people who are lonely and isolated. The dinner takes place on Christmas day and really does make a huge difference to the 80 people that attend who would otherwise be spending the day alone. Some of the guests also really struggle financially so the hampers meant that they felt support all the way through the festive period as well as having a meal on the day. People were so grateful for the support and passed on How does it make their thanks again and again. I’ve attached few photos from the Christmas dinner

Take some time to reflect on our actions as a school, a community and family. Your mentor will give you a card to fill in. Fill this in by yourself quietly. They will be displayed on the ‘Respect board’ in the Core as well as in other places in school. You can leave it anonymous if you wish. Your mentor will check them as you hand them.
