Why KPMG? Our Experience We understand that with the increase in complexity of the business environment; business transactions, financial reporting and financial management are becoming increasingly more challenging. This challenge is further enhanced by the significant changes being envisaged in the accounting and financial reporting standards. In addition, organisations are seeking to improve their accounting processes to achieve timely and accurate financial reporting. With a well established track record of successfully delivering and managing finance function transformations, accounting change, IPO reporting, pre and post-deal reporting, financial reporting support and financial reporting process advisory projects. KPMG’s Accounting and Finance Academy is strongly positioned to meet the varied financial management, financial reporting and accounting training needs of various organisations.

Our approach is driven by our overall objective of human and organizational development. Our approach is holistic but customised to meet the learning objectives of our participants. Our trainings are instructor-led and our emphasis is the transfer of knowledge to participants.

Upon completion of our training courses participants will be awarded with ICAN Mandatory Continual professional Education (MCPE) points.

Dimeji is the Partner & Head, Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance Services unit of KPMG in Nigeria and also doubles as the head of KPMG’s Accounting Advisory practice. He has accumulated 26 years of accounting experience in both the public and private sector including national and multinational businesses on various assignments, delivering the highest-value expected with leading practices.

Agnes is a Partner in our Department of Professional Practice, responsible for providing technical support for our statutory audits and accounting engagements. She has over 20 years post-qualification experience with KPMG Africa. She has extensive experience in the statutory and internal audits, accounting and special assignments for a wide range of corporate, state corporations, banks and financial institutions. Agnes has been involved in large IFRS conversions and training projects in Nigeria and other African Countries.

Bolanle is a Senior Manager in the Accounting Advisory Services unit of KPMG Nigeria and has over eleven (11) years in-depth and hands-on experience in accounting and financial reporting, financial controls and processes, financial analysis and change management. She has also been seconded to various clients in the key sectors as the head of the finance function to lead the transformation of the department. She has strong leadership, problem solving, team building and project management skills.

Williams is a Senior Manager in our Department of Professional Practice and has 10 years of professional experience providing audit and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) services to various clients in the key sectors. He has been involved in several IFRS conversions and training projects and has demonstrated this expertise in assisting our clients achieve their financial and strategic business objectives.
