GRI seeks nominations for its Due Process Oversight Committee (DPOC) Call for nominations period: 1 May – 30 June 2018 www.globalreporting.org The Due Process Oversight Committee (DPOC) is the governance body within GRI which ensures that the standard-setting activities of the GRI Global Sustainability Standards Board (GSSB) are conducted in accordance with its due process. The DPOC is looking for two senior individuals of integrity and high reputation to join the Committee. Successful candidates will serve a 3-year term starting 1 January 2019. The Independent Appointments Committee (IAC) is committed to considering the regional and gender balance on the DPOC in making the appointments. You are invited to submit your nomination by 30 June 2018 at 24:00 (CEST). To apply, please submit a completed Nomination Form to the GRI Governance Relations Team. If relevant, nominees are asked to also submit a signed employer statement indicating the employer’s awareness and willingness to support the candidate in this commitment. However, please note that the individual DPOC members serve in their personal capacity and do not represent their employer in the committee’s deliberations. Further references may be requested. Members will be involved in approximately four virtual meetings a year and annual in-person meetings as required on matters related to due process. Participation on the DPOC is voluntary. GRI reimburses reasonable travel related expenses and provides a daily per-diem related to in-person meetings, according to its Travel Policy.
