Eligibility Criteria: Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese language preferred as you may be required to communicate with Chinese speaking customers or read Chinese document Possess genuine interest in the banking industry Full-time student in an Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or Polytechnic from any field of study Chinese Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (17 - 25 years old) Gross Monthly Household Income (MHI) ≤ $3,300 or Gross Per Capita Income (PCI) ≤ $900 CDAC reserves the right to request for any necessary documents for verification of the information given as and when required.
General Information: The programme comprises two components: (a) Financial Literacy Training Programme (13 to 15 September 2017) Up to 40 students will be selected to attend 3 evening training sessions at Bank of China from 5.30pm8pm on 13, 14 & 15 September 2017. Training would include introduction to retail banking and credit card products, anti-money laundering and resume writing etc. Programme also includes interaction with management trainees to hear their success story. Students with potential will be shortlisted for internship. (b) Internship (18 September to 13 October 2017) Up to 15 students will be selected for internship in Bank of China for 4 weeks and be assigned to real life projects with mentoring provided. Each student will receive monthly allowance.
