COMMERCIAL BURGLARY SUSPECT ELK GROVE, CA – The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating a commercial burglary suspect, 35-year-old William Cook (photo below), who was captured on video surveillance breaking into restaurants and retail businesses. Through investigative efforts, Detectives have been able to connect Cook to at least four commercial burglaries that have taken place in Elk Grove since August 1, 2015. A $250,000.00 felony burglary warrant has been issued for the arrest of William Cook. Cook is believed to be driving a silver or gray 1997-2004 VW Golf. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of William Cook is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
