iskillingashtrees Emerald Ash Borer is a metallic green beetle that kills all species of Ash trees native to North America. The City adopted an Active Management Plan in 2012 and has been working to manage the City’s ash tree population ever since.
Important facts ▪︎ EAB only infests Ash trees and is present in all City wards. ▪︎ The City maintains ash trees on streets and in parks. ▪︎ Property owners are responsible for trees on private property. ▪︎ Dead or dying trees should be removed to prevent hazards.
