ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION 2017
2 x TWO WEEK & 2 x ONE WEEK SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE YOUNG LEADERS PROGRAM TO BE WON The Young Leaders Program, offered at Trinity College, The University of Melbourne provides students aged between 14-17 the opportunity to live on campus and participate in lectures and workshops. Held each year in July and December, the program is an opportunity for other like-minded young leaders from around the world to have a unique experience by immersing themselves in the intellectually exciting and vigorous academic streams.
TO ENTER: Complete an entry form and submit a 800 word essay in English on the topic:
“A characteristic of a good leader is their ability to influence others” If you could have a conversation with a leader or well known person, who would you choose and why? What would you like to talk to them about?
ENTRIES CLOSE MONDAY 2 OCTOBER 2017 Winners will be announced during the Irrawaddy Literary Festival November 2017 in Mandalay and will also be posted to the Trinity College Foundation Studies Facebook page.
