Event Calendar 2017 Facilitator

Dammon Rice Facilitator, social entrepreneur, creative and independent thinker Dammon has worked in the field of youth development and adult education and training in the arts, heritage and small business development sectors for the last 25 years. She has developed international award winning programmes, run her own businesses, and most recently is responsible for heading up CCDI Creative.

Dr Alexia Cox With a PHD in HRM from Stellenbosch University Alexia has over 10 years’ experience in developing human capabilities and has worked in academia, consulting, media & advertising, education, talent acquisition, and has had the privilege of working on large HR transformation projects that value the development of their employees. She believes that building human performance and developing creative thinking skills are key to meeting departmental and organisational objectives and most importantly that acquiring knowledge, understanding and learning new skills empowers as well as boosts self-esteem.

Event Description

Imagine 1/2 day workshop Intro to growing your creative problem solving skills and confidence. We all have the capacity to be creative. This one-day workshop takes participants through a problem-solving process using multiple tools and techniques that expose you to your creative problem solving potential.

Creative HR 1 day workshop Adopt a creative mindset to the strategic role of Human Resources in your organisation. You will be taken through a series of activities that will stimulate your creative thinking to transform your HRM mindset and adopt a strategic way of working. By understanding how HRM has evolved in South Africa and what the future of HRM looks like, participants will be able to plot out the necessary changes they need to make within their organisation. Participants will look at HRM issues from a business perspective before viewing them from a people perspective. Each participant will walk away with a strategic HRM plan that considers the business’s long-term needs.

Event Description

Collaborate 1 day workshop Build your creative collaboration skills Creative ideas and solutions to business challenges are never born in isolation. Strong teams are able to draw on the creativity, the solution finding and strengths of all the members of the team. This workshop will take you through a series of activities that stimulate the creativity of the individuals, builds collaborative awareness and provides tools for working as a dynamic team able to collectively solve problems, set goals and implement actions.
