Nolen Akerman, Ph.D.| Data Scientist-IT Analytics at Kellogg Company Tutorial-Meaningful Data Visualization for Unstructured and ‘Big’ Data. Growth in data storage capacity has provided a wealth of data, but the new challenge is transforming this data into actionable insights. In this presentation, a general methodology is presented that focuses on formalizing the requirements gathering process for identifying the audience, purpose, technological tools and datasets associated with a visualization design activity.
