Social Justice Training for Teen Girls August 14-19, 2016

This training is for teen girls who want to become leaders for social change among their peers and in their communities.

About Everytown Wisconsin Everytown Wisconsin is a week-long camp held in Almond, WI at Camp Helen Brachman.

Camp Cost Thanks to a generous grant from Milwaukee Public Schools Partnership for the Arts and Humanities, teen girls may apply for scholarships to help cover camp fees.

Teen girls from a variety of backgrounds and high schools throughout Wisconsin attend camp as delegates to learn about civic issues and forms of injustice, gain leadership skills, and have fun!

How to Attend Camp • You must be a female-identified teen who has completed 9th, 10th, or 11th grade, or a 2016 graduate

Come learn about democracy, community action, and what you can do about injustice.

• Complete the enclosed application • Include a $25 non-refundable deposit • Include a signature from a parent or guardian

Camp Leaders Co-Directors: Camp leaders who make learning about social justice inspiring Counselors: College-age young women who stay in cabins with teen girls to offer advice and help with activities Advisors: Assist teen girls and counselors with developing leadership skills and tackling social justice issues head on
