Experience Wakefield Website & E-Newsletter

Experiencewakefield.co.uk is Wakefield Council’s official tourism website and the first port of call for visitors looking to find out what to do, where to stay and where to eat and drink in the local area. The website attracts over 44,000 users a month and 4.6 million page views a year. The website is supported and promoted by all the district’s major attractions and hotels. A whole month’s advertising can cost you less than a single advert in a regional newspaper and we will support your campaign with regular mentions on Twitter and Facebook. User statistics will be provided to help you monitor your advert which can link directly to your own website or booking page. Tourism e-newsletters are sent to subscribers of our mailing list on a regular basis, providing information on upcoming events, exhibitions and special offers, linking through to the Experience Wakefield website. Advertising banner spots are available for providers who would like to drive traffic towards their own website.
