Eye on the Future Challenge Are you a creative, talented photographer? KPMG wants to help showcase your talent.

Embodying world-class design excellence and sustainability, KPMG’s new office in Sydney’s Barangaroo district will be opening soon. A feature of our new home is flexibility and technology – a next generation working environment that allows our clients to collaborate and solutions come to life. A fantastic client experience and collaboration are the core principles of the new office; it’s a digital collaborative workspace for executives to accelerate their decision-making process. We’re putting the finishing touches on right now and we need your creativity to bring it to life. How? Through photographic images taken by you in three categories:

Judging

1. Submission of a photograph is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions you should not enter the competition.

20. The competition will be judged by KPMG’s judging panel. The judging panel will consist of employees of KPMG. The judging panel is ineligible to enter the competition.

2. This competition is run by KPMG. KPMG means the Australian Partnership of KPMG or any of its associated entities (as defined in section 50AAA of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)).

21. Entries will be judged based on the following criteria (Judging Criteria):

You are only eligible to enter this competition if you: a. are aged 18 years or older, or are under 18 but have parent or guardian consent to enter; and b. have exclusive intellectual property rights (including copyright ownership) in relation to the photograph(s) submitted in your entry and KPMG reserves the right to request supporting documentation. 4. There is no fee payable to KPMG to enter this competition. 5. Employees of KPMG are eligible to enter the competition. 6. By entering this competition, you warrant to KPMG that you are eligible to enter this competition based on these Terms and Conditions. 7.

Entries must be emailed to [email protected] by 5.00pm (AEST) on 31 May 2016 in JPEG format. Every entry must be a minimum of 1200 pixels and digital files must not exceed 5MB. Images exceeding either dimension will not be resized by KPMG and will not be eligible for the competition.

8. KPMG does not accept any responsibility for lost, late or incomplete entries, all of which will not be eligible for the competition.

26. Winners must redeem their prize within 30 days of being notified that they have won the competition.

9. Each photograph submitted must be identified as one of the following themes (Themes):

Privacy

a. disruption; b. connectivity; or c. innovation. 10. You may submit a maximum of 5 entries per Theme. 11. There is no restriction on when a photo was taken. 12. You are responsible for obtaining all relevant model and/or property releases and KPMG reserves the right to request supporting documentation. 13. KPMG reserves the right to disqualify any photographs it deems to be inappropriate. 14. The decision on all matters relating to the competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into concerning the competition’s judging. Copyright 15. You warrant that you hold all intellectual property rights (including copyright) in each photograph submitted for the purposes of this competition and that any postproduction editing is your work. 16. You grant KPMG a royalty free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, communicate and display any photograph entered into the competition in connection with any KPMG visual display. 17. You consent to and permit any photograph entered into the competition to be reproduced in the following publications and platforms without charge: a. b. c. d.

27. You agree that KPMG may (regardless of whether you are a winner): a. Use your photo as part of any promotional material (both internal and external) or for any other purpose in the future; b. Make your photo available to the public, whether as part of promotional material or otherwise; c. Keep your photo for a period as determined by KPMG; and d. Collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy available at www.kpmg.com/au/privacy. Liability 28. To the extent permitted by law, KPMG excludes all liability to you for any loss, damage, claim or expense that you suffer or incur in connection with this competition. 29. You indemnify KPMG against all claims directly or indirectly incurred or suffered by KPMG in respect of: a. any infringement by the you of any intellectual property rights of any other person in respect of any photograph(s) entered into the competition; b. the use of the photograph(s) entered into the competition; and c. any breach of the Terms and Conditions. 30. You release KPMG from any liability, cost, damage, loss or expense arising out of, or in connection with, entry into this competition and use of any photograph(s).

KPMG visual displays in KPMG Australia offices; any form of media coverage related to the competition or KPMG’s offices; social media posts promoting the competition or KPMG’s; and internal material promoting the competition or KPMG’s Insight Centres.

18. If requested by KPMG, you agree to bring into existence, sign, execute or otherwise deal with any document which may be necessary to give effect to clause 17. 19. Winning photographers will be acknowledged. The form of acknowledgement is solely at KPMG’s discretion.
