Bring your own (non-alcoholic) drinks. We will have 6-8 ‘hosted’ tables –
meaning someone at the table is prepared to teach a game to whoever wants to sit at that table and learn/play. If you would like to host a table / bring a game
you’re willing to teach others – that’s cool too. Contact Jennifer prior to August 6 if you’d like to host a table (
[email protected]). The plan is for adults and youth (middle school and high school) to play in the Connection Center. Elementary school kids will have their own games back in the children’s area (and/or outside), and our youngest friends will have their fun in the nursery. Please make a note on your Connection Card to RSVP. It will be VERY helpful to have an idea of how many people to expect.
Wednesday, August 9—Back to School Cookout Volunteers needed to help with Back to School Cookout with our community partners at Hickory Creek Mobile Home Community. There will be music, food, fellowship and fun. We will distribute backpacks, school supplies and books to local students. For more info—or to volunteer, make a note on your Connection Card.
Bless the Backpacks - Sunday August 13 Bless the Backpacks is a great tradition at Faith! Circle the date on your calendar and join us in worship! During worship on Sunday, August 13, we will pray over our students and parents, teachers, faculty, staff and administrators. We want everyone to head back to school feeling blessed and looking forward to a great year. Bring your backpacks to worship. (everyone will receive a gift for their backpack) We encourage you to invite your teachers, friends, and neighbors to join you in worship.
