Home Comforts is a new home decor store opening in the Williston community. Home Comforts’ will be opening its doors for their grand opening on Friday, April 28th at 10:00am. Whether new or old, Home Comforts provides original pieces in furniture, décor, and art. Dale and Bev Salmen love finding and selling handmade, locally sourced items and products. They find great fulfillment in connecting with people and discovering their gifts. They look forward to being connectors, whether through word of mouth or having a message board in their store. As transplants from Minnesota, the Salmens’ were brought to Williston through the oilfield. They have found much to love in Williston, whether it is the Missouri River and Lake Sakakawea, or the awe-inspiring sky with its sunrises and sunsets. They have come to feel at home here in Williston. In Minnesota, they owned a drywall business for 35 years. They also owned and managed an art gallery. They look forward to expanding Home Comforts to filling other interior services, such as interior design and finishing. They believe that any place done in the way you want, and filled with things you love, will be a home of comfort and joy. The Salmen’s enjoy donating their time to the Salvation Army store. They also feel it important to participate in Clean-Up Day in Williston. Stop by their Grand Opening on Friday April 28th from 10am – 7pm at 619 2nd Street W Ste A.
