WHO SHOULD ATTEND? The Young Ladies of Agriculture Forum is a networking evening to encourage young ladies (grades 8-12) who have an interest in Agriculture through a family operation, course in school, or personal interest! It is NOT required to have a background in agriculture – just an interest in learning more about the industry!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS…( all times are Eastern Standard Time) 4:00-4:30pm: Registration and Information Fair 4:30-4:40pm: Sponsor Welcome 4:40-5:25m: "10 Life Hacks for Young Women in Agriculture“ with Laura Daniels This upbeat countdown is packed with field tested tips that will make your work as a young advocate a little easier. Laura will ask you to identify your own “grit” a.k.a. your values. Research shows our values are the best way to connect with consumers, these same values will guide you to your purpose and a fulfilling career. 5:25-5:50pm: Colleges and Careers What college and career options do you have as a Young Lady in Agriculture? Can you start somewhere different than you finish? What should you be looking for in a college? 5:50-6:20pm: Hearing from the Women in Agriculture Join the 2016 Midwest Women in Agriculture Conference attendees in a discussion of agriculture, their roles in the industry, working on a family farming operation, and advice for the future of agriculture. 6:30pm: Dinner and words from an Indiana State FFA Officer A current Indiana FFA State Officer will speak to the conference attendees to inspire us as women in agriculture to begin our leadership early, promote activities for younger women in the industry, and to encourage us to celebrate National FFA Week, February 18-25, 2017.

You MUST Register by February 15th • Program is available for the first 100 young ladies who register (registered upon payment). • RSVP by calling Purdue Extension – Kosciusko County at (574) 372-2340 or visit ag.purdue.edu/extension/wia/ to complete the registration form online • $10 per young lady is due to the Kosciusko County Extension Office (202 W Main St, Warsaw, IN 46580) by February 15th • One (1) adult guest may RSVP per registration form or group free of charge.
