FIELD TRIP forest management and modern timber-construction against the background of climate change

The field trip will lead into a woodland close to the city of Bonn. The local woodland manager will demonstrate his way of trying to carefully convert woodland so that it may be better prepared and adapted to face climate change. In the second part, a multi-storey timber building under construction will be visited - using durable timber-products and relying on the latest building technology as a contribution against climate change. The forestry board will invite you to enjoy a snack at a place on the building site.
