Fireball Run to Film in Ballston Spa!
On Thursday, September 29, 2016, the Southern County Chamber of Commerce, Ballston Spa Business Professional Association and the Village of Ballston Spa are bringing the finale episode of the international broadcast/streaming series, Fireball Run to the Village. The Fireball Run follows 40 teams of contestant, driving fabulous cars in a 'life sized trivia game on the road less traveled' to under discovered places and obscure historic artifacts across the US. Each season highlights a different part of the country in an 8 day, 2,000-mile journey. For the upcoming 10th season, the focus is from western NY, PA, Hudson Valley, Saratoga region and western MA.
From 12:00 pm, Low Street and Front Street will be closed to regular traffic. The grandstand will be in front of Daisy Dry Goods. Filming will begin around 4:00 pm and should be done by 6:00 pm. As part of the adventure, car owners/drivers will be stopping in the businesses to meet the local community.
