We also provide a suite of fleet management services including: vehicle selector consultation services, vehicle and equipment RFP development services, driver training programs administration services, and Alberta Transportation & National Safety Code Operating Certificates compliance administration.

FLEET OPERATIONS STANDARDS Fleet Availability Rates by Class Provider has set the following availability rates for each major fleet class. Calculations will be made by comparing downtime from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for holidays. 1. Autos through light trucks 95% 2. Medium duty trucks 92% 3. Heavy trucks 90% 4. Construction/Off-road equipment 88% 5. Specialty/seasonal equipment 95% Preventive Maintenance Goals 1. Provider will complete 95% of all Preventive Maintenance before it is overdue. 2. Provider or Customer will attempt to reschedule Preventive Maintenance appointments at least 24 hours before the original appointment. 3. Missed appointments by the Customer will not count against Fleet Operations Preventive Maintenance goal. SLS Version dated: February 2015

Maintenance and Repair Services on Unplanned Services 1. Response Times a. Customer agrees to report unplanned repairs immediately upon occurrence or discovery. b. Provider agrees to acknowledge Customer’s report and request and set an action plan in place to correct the damage for failure or need. 2. Job Turnaround Times by Provider a. Best job time estimates will be provided to the Customer. b. Customer will be notified if job times require adjustments. c. 70% of all repairs will be done in one day. d. 90% of all repairs will be done in three days. e. 10% of all repairs will take over three days. f. Job times for collision repair, warranty and recalls, defects, vandalism, or acts of God are exempt from service goals.

Oil changes Vehicle safety inspections Tire repairs Tire rotations Battery replacement Bulb replacement Wiper replacement Boosting Parts ordering and pick up Off-site legislated inspections, repairs and vendor coordination Off-site vehicle pick up and drop off Incidental repairs & adjustments less than 15 minutes in duration Fuel delivery (Run out of gas on campus) Fluid top ups Triage diagnostics (advanced diagnostics are considered repairs and billed accordingly) Technical advice related to the vehicles repairs/ or accessories install Vehicle washing

Internally provided vehicle, equipment, and trailer repair tasks: o Vehicle repairs done in-house are billed separately at a rate of $87/hr. Parts required to complete repairs are billed out at cost. o Typical repair tasks include: o Electrical and mechanical component repairs or replacements o Tune ups o Brake replacement o Vehicle decaling Externally provided repair tasks: o Depending on the complexity of repair work required or specialized expertise required to complete repair work, we contract with select manufacturer dealerships and independent garages and aftermarket service providers to complete this work. We have secured preferential labour rates which range between $105/hr and $140/hr. Repairs completed off site will be billed directly back to the department in their entirety. o Typical repair tasks provided by external service providers include: o Warranty repairs o Legislated vehicle, trailer, equipment inspections o Windshield replacement o Select electrical and mechanical component repairs or replacements
