Old Business: Attach our FHAAN name to our work. Visually recognize FHAAN by sending a press release / comment, or something ... perhaps ADAP at 10k.

New Business:

 Mute phone when in listen mode. Do not place your phone on hold.  State your name prior to speaking.  Abide by our FHAAN Operating Agreement, Process and Code of Conduct. Mission: Florida HIV/AIDS Advocacy Network (FHAAN) advocates for statewide HIV/AIDS resources including education, policies, programs, funding and legislation. 1. Topic : Joey – Bullet points on how FL handling funds. Jesse – Rubio & Hastings letters: Bipartisan offer solution the most heavily hit FL counties, how HHS can move admin $ to ADAP wait list help. 2. Plan of Action: Joey to write and send us, with possible solution. Jesse to ask them what they have heard back from HHS. Put in into press release angle. Send Rubio and Hastings our thanks and plan to get other FL congressional. 3. Media Contacts: Ted – Send Press Release via PRNewswire list in Constant Contact, & Send CongressWeb action item to state to contact their Florida US Rep/Senators. MR - The only thing new to report is the ADAP awards should be received by Florida THIS WEEK for sure. The Part A’s went out last week and the remaining area awards will go out this week.
