FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Fresno Greek Fest Announces Its 1st Ever Logo Contest Create a logo that captures the essence of the Fresno Greek Fest FRESNO, Calif. (July 23, 2015) – Are you a closet designer or a napkin doodler with a talent for creating logos? Then the Fresno Greek Fest is looking for you! It is time to put a brand to the Fresno Greek Fest name with a design that screams OPA! and captures the spirit of the festival. Fifty-five years without a logo is long enough! It is time to put your creative minds to the test for a chance to win a new IPad Mini. Fresno Greek Fest is calling all creative individuals to submit their designs. Official Rules and Submission Guidelines are located on the Fresno Greek Fest website, www.fresnogreekfest.com, and the Fresno Greek Fest Facebook page, www.facebook.com/FresnoGreekFest. Fresno Greek Fest is looking for a logo that combines the love of Greek culture with the excitement and attractions of the festival. The logo can be a single image or include text. The identifying mark selected by Fresno Greek Fest must be functional in all media forms. The logo must be original. Copied works or logos will not be eligible for entry. The best part of this logo contest is you may enter up to up to three separate concepts. We welcome all ideas! Entrants must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Fresno Greek Fest will be accepting submissions between July 24, 2015 and August 30, 2015 at midnight. The announcement of the winning design will be on September 22, 2015 via all our social media sites: Facebook, Instagram @fresnogreekfest, and Twitter @FresnoGreekFest. Fresno Greek Fest is all about the entire Greek experience, from the dancing and music, to the food and desserts, to the shopping and the Youth Olympic Park. This festival is a family affair and one that all generations cherish. 30,000 expected attendees will come together to try all the Greek dishes and enjoy the entire experience in a family fun environment. Proceeds from Greek Fest go to organizations across the valley. This year is especially important because $1 of every ticket sold will go to the Rebuild St. Nicholas National Shrine at the World Trade Center Fund. Greek Fest is a three-day celebration of everything Greek — food, culture, fun and excitement! Authentic ethnic food, games for the kids, shopping for adults, nightlife for partiers, live music until close - all the things Greece is known for having. Did we mention the food and the lamb?
