Indianapolis. Learfield Licensing Partners, a trademark management company specializing in collegiate licensing and branding, is pleased to announce the promotion of Casey Shillito to Director of Corporate Social Responsibility. Casey has served in Learfield Licensing's legal department as a legal assistant for more than two years, during which time she focused on contract review, enforcement strategies, and working with clients to implement and manage social responsibility requirements with respective licensees. Corporate Social Responsibility and responsible sourcing practices have been at the forefront of the licensing industry for many years and continue to be an area of increasing interest for colleges and universities. Learfield Licensing Partners has been committed for years to addressing and remedying labor code issues and working collectively to improve workplace conditions. Over the next several months, Shillito will assess Learfield Licensing Partners’ current policies and procedures; work to establish best practices; expand Learfield Licensing’s CSR program, and develop and implement innovative policies and programs. Learfield Licensing Partners’ commitment to proactively addressing global CSR issues will provide our collegiate partners with confidence that all officially licensed collegiate branded merchandise bearing their marks is produced in accordance with the institution’s standards. “Corporate social responsibility has always been paramount to our overall corporate strategy, and dedicating resources and experienced personnel like Casey Shillito to this department will allow us to provide an even greater level of service to our 500-plus clients and the industry at large,” said Bob Bernard, president and CEO of Learfield Licensing.
