F REQUENTLY A SKED Q UESTIONS What Do I Need to Bring? You don’t need to bring anything to this workshop except an open mind and some positive energy. Recent statements from your investment accounts may be helpful for your own reference during the program, but will not be required or viewed by any other attendees. Why Do You Charge $20? Why Not For Free? We realize many investment houses will provide you with a free seminar. They may even throw in a free meal to get you there … but then you have to wonder, “What do I have to buy? What products are they trying to sell?” As in all industries, in the investment world you “get what you pay for.” The information we will share has tremendous value. Paying a small fee of $20 for this education is reasonable. Besides $5 is donated to the Laureate Foundation Fund for Financial Literacy. What is the Laureate Foundation Fund for Financial Literacy? The Laureate Foundation is the non-profit arm of the Laureate School, a nondenominational private school in San Luis Obispo. Their Fund for Financial Literacy works to bring in financial literacy programs for young people and adults and to provide scholarships for those programs. DISCLOSURE—Mr. Buerger is on the board of the Foundation and spearheads the Fund for Financial Literacy efforts. Should you wish to make an additional donation to the Foundation, it will be gratefully accepted. What Are You Going to Try to Sell Me? Absolutely nothing. The purpose of this evening is education - to teach you investment principles and methods not commonly talked about in the main stream financial media. We want you to be a smarter investor.
