#WOL16

Apprenticeship Zone In July 2015 the Government announced the introduction of an Apprenticeship Levy, which many businesses will start paying in April 2017. The levy is designed to encourage employers to embrace apprenticeships, as a way of meeting their current and future skills needs.

NE W 0 16 FOR 2

The levy will affect all employers that pay over £3million annually to their staff via PAYE. Employers will have to pay 0.5% of their total salary payments as a levy, regardless of whether an apprentice is taken on or not. This year we are excited to launch the Apprenticeship Zone, where apprenticeship training providers will be exhibiting. A dedicated free apprenticeship seminar theatre will cover everything you need to know from how the levy works to structuring and delivering an apprenticeship programme. Register for the exhibition to get access to the Apprenticeship Zone where you can get all your questions on the Apprenticeship Levy answered.
